Invitation of Articles – OpsSamhita
Operations in the recent times have received the necessary impetus owing to the emergence of new connected technologies, dependence on logistics and changing global landscape. And we at SKEIN-The Supply Chain and Operations Club of IIM Udaipur are committed to be a part of this change by contributing our best every time. IIM Udaipur is set to launch the next edition of “Supply Chain Management Summit" on February 5th,2017.
As a part of the event, we will be launching the Annual SCM Magazine – OpsSamhita. Top 10-15 articles will be shortlisted based on the quality, depth of research, language, and adherence to the rules will be published in the magazine. All the authors of shortlisted entries will be provided with certificates, and top 5 entries will be awarded.

RULES
Themes: We would appreciate the use of following themes. However, you are free to choose any theme relevant to Operations and Supply Chain Management.
- Reinventing Supply Chain through Technology
- Building resilience in modern Supply Chains
- Big Data integration with the Supply Chains
- Adaptive Supply Chain: Mitigating the Uncertainties
- Logistics 2.0: Changing Industry Landscape
- The arrival of Disruptive Technologies
– Drones, 3D Printing, Self-driven Vehicles, etc.
- Sustainable Supply Chain (Green Supply Chain)
- The business of demand aggregation
– How Uber and DiDi have changed the cabs industry
- The Retail Supply Chain
– How modern Supply Chain is transforming the retail industry in India
- Risk Management is Supply Chains

• Format of writing: Font Size: 12; Font - Times New Roman; Spacing – 1.5 File type - doc/.docx. Avoid sending PDF files.
• Number of authors - Limited to three.
• File naming convention is OpsSamhita_Topic Name_Participant Name(s)_College Name. Eg. OpsSamhita_ Reinventing Supply Chain through Technology_Avinash_Setu_Roshni_IIM Udaipur.
• Primary or secondary research is appreciated. However, valid references should be provided in the APA style. More than 10 percent plagiarism will not be accepted.
• Multiple entries per person are allowed.
• Word Limit – 1000 Words
• Send all entries to – skein@iimu.ac.in Prize Money
• Every top 5 entry will get Rs.3000/- each.
