Congruence 2010 – A Success

Mumbai, February 27, 2010: Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Management Studies and Research successfully held Congruence ’10; its annual Management event on 27th February 2010. This year, Congruence was focused on Marketing in changing times and the event was envisioned to be a Marathon of Marketing.

Renowned Marketing professionals from across industries shared their years of invaluable knowledge with the Management students from Mumbai and nearby areas. They spoke on the current developments and trends in the field of Marketing and how these trends will influence the future.

The topics ranged from Branding to IT Marketing and from Rural Marketing to Public Relations. Some of the noted speakers were names such as Brand Guru Jagdeep Kapoor, Chairman, Samsika Marketing Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Abhinav Kakade, Sr. Director (NPD & International), Neoacceal, Rajesh Agrawal , Head-Steel trading, Cargill, T K Cherian , Global SME Head, TCS and Veena Gidwani , CEO, Madison Public Relations.

Congruence; completed its 11th year, has always focused on enabling academic and industry interface. With this purpose in mind, as always, Congruence witnessed panel discussions, debates and student interaction. Marketing Marathon 2010 similarly brought together management students, academicians and industry professionals with a view to enrich them both.

Congruence was a success. Credits to VESIMSR’s Management, Faculties and Students, without them this success would not had been possible.
