What are Dare2Compete Awards?
Dare2Compete aims to increase student engagement and establish a healthy exchange between the students and the brands. To fulfil this vision, it has conducted series of both Offline and Online Quizzes, Hackathons, Business Simulation Games and other innovative competitions and engagements over the years in collaboration with several prominent corporate houses. Apart from executing the aforementioned activities, Dare2compete also conducts various Employee Engagements and Employer Branding activities.
After publishing and being associated with 31,000+ National and International competitions, Dare2Compete has decided to come full circle in this ecosystem with Dare2Compete Awards to give impetus to the participants, their campuses and to corporates that organise these competitions. The Uniqueness of Dare2Compete Awards
Dare2Compete Awards are divided into 3 categories:
- Most Competitive Business Leaders of the Year
- Most Competitive Business Schools of the Year
- Most Prestigious B-School Competitions of the Year
The ranking has been devised by connecting with the winners, the individual B-schools and the Corporates. It is verified and linked to ensure we cover all the domains and aspects of these rankings.
Dare2Compete also publish all the data points corrected and verified for these rankings and link them with one another for easy understanding and to gain credibility.
In the first section, the list of the students from various B-schools is displayed. This list is arrived by calculating the achievements of the individuals across B-School competitions. The more they win, the better are their chances to be at the top.
The top three students according to our ranking has been Prateik Mahapatra from XLRI, Jamshedpur who had been a winner of Amazon Ace Challenge 2017 and has been first runners-up and finalist in two other national level competition respectively. Preetham Krishna from IIM Lucknow also has participated in three competitions and has been the winner of Yes Bank Transformation Series 2017 and 2nd Runner-up in two other competitions. Shashwat Goel from IIM Lucknow has been the winner of HUL The Premier League 2017, he also secured the Second Runner-up position in Samsung E.D.G.E 2017 and finalist in another competition.
The second section talks about the B-schools that get the maximum number of participants/winners in the various competitions. This ranking can be beneficial in understanding the quality of education and the atmosphere of competition that exists in these B-schools. It will instil a fervour of healthy competitions between the B-schools as well.
XLRI Jamshedpur has given 11 national level winners and has won a total of 26 competitions followed by SPJIMR Mumbai who has grabbed trophies at the national level for 12 times and has won a total of 19 corporate competitions. The third position according to the ranking has been grabbed by IIM Kozhikode who has 3 national level winners in its armoury and has won in 17 competitions in total. These figures show the amount of hard work and perseverance that the faculty and the students of these B-schools have put in to exhibit such a stupendous performance.
As the students from various campuses participate in various competitions and events organised by the corporates, it can provide a direct insight into what kind of talent can be found in the various campuses. Moreover, in some cases, certain campuses will have students from a certain domain who have outperformed than rest of the domains, so the corporates looking for the similar kind of talents can easily focus on these specific campuses.
The third section is about the most prestigious B-school Competitions organized by the respective Corporate Houses. This section gives an insight into what kind of a competition works best for students; what are the elements that make a competition prestigious; what is the kind of learning that matters to students; and many more insights. It also helps the corporate houses to understand their popularity and appeal in terms of the number of participants and the talents that they receive.
L.I.M.E. Season 9 by Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has received a greater number of favoured responses. HUL L.I.M.E. is nearly a decade old competition and it has been one of the pioneers in conducting case study competitions which are also aired on CNBC. Other two most preferred competitions were Yes Bank Transformation Series 2017 and Amazon Ace Challenge 2017. Dare2Compete has ranked top 20 B-school competitions which have been most attractive to the students across various B-schools.
