The journey of Hero MotoCorp into the world of B-school competitions started with Hero Campus Challenge (HCC) in 2015. Hero wanted to extend an opportunity to the students of premier b-schools of the country to understand how Hero MotoCorp as a brand functions and simultaneously to bring in fresh ideas from the students for benefitting the organisation.
HCC Season 1 witnessed the presence of 11 premium B-Schools and the aspirants had to form a 3-member team for participation. Hero saw a pretty decent response in the form of registrations by 300 teams, engaging 900 students and gathering 90 paper submissions by 270 students.
Each participating team worked on the futuristic themes, applied their creativity, strategic and analytical prowess and came up with recommendations.
After exhaustive rounds of evaluation and elimination, 10 best teams were selected by subject matter experts. These teams got an opportunity to participate in the grand finale which was held at the headquarters of Hero MotoCorp in Gurgaon on 29th Sept’15.
The ten final teams presented their research work to a distinguished panel consisting of some of the senior leadership members of the company. After five intense hours of presentations followed by Q&A round, the Jury declared the following teams as the winners of Hero Campus Challenge Season 1!
