The final placement process for the PGP-FABM (Post-Graduate Programme in Food and Agribusiness Management) for the batch of 2017-19 IIM Ahmedabad was recently administered on the 11th of February 2019. The batch discovered some options in a diverse set of industries within the food, agro-business, and allied sectors and a summation of 30 leading corporate houses took part in the final placements of the year 2019, varying from sectors like FMCG, Agri Inputs and Services, Food Processing and Supply Chain, Food and Agro-Business PE-VC, Food and Agro-Consulting, Agro-Commodity Trading, e-Commerce, and Retail, mentioned by a statement from IIM-A.
Companies like Godrej Agrovet, PI Industries, Jain Irrigation, Pioneering Ventures, Ninjacart, and Waycool propounded 3 offers each. The placement process welcomed debutant hirers like Ernst and Young (EY), RBL Bank and Reliance Foundation. RaboBank and INI Farms resumed their relations with the PGP-FABM programme. Other regular hirers including Cloudtail, Reckitt Benckiser, ADM, and KPMG reassured of their positivity in the programme, offering multiple positions to the candidates.
The students also wholeheartedly took up some chances with start-ups in the Agro-Business territories like the Agrostar, Gramophone, and Our Foods.
