All that you need to know about Manthan - Waste to Wealth
India generates 62 million tons of waste every year. Be it solid urban waste, sewage, chemical or industrial waste, most of it is mismanaged. Today’s society can be viewed as a trash can of problems or as a hotbed of opportunities for problem solvers. If these problem-solvers can also figure out a way to churn out revenues in the process of solving the problem, then bingo! They just cracked the code to become entrepreneurs. Along with a solution and a business plan, a budding entrepreneur also needs a supportive bed of mentors who handhold them in decision-making, and investors with a strong financial muscle to materialize those plans, apart from customers who buy that idea. Manthan, a student initiative of IIFM provides a perfect platform for such budding entrepreneurs, introducing them to the mentors, investors or incubators who are willing and ready to fund the best out of them.
